Privacy notice
Short and plain: what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
The Right Room is run by Derek Alexander Elder. When this notice says "we" or "us", it means Derek and The Right Room.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the forms on this site:
- Applications: your name, age, email, WhatsApp number, occupation, where you're based and your answers to the application questions.
- Event and retreat updates: your name and email address.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
To review your application and get back to you about it, and to send you the updates you asked for. We never sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing.
Where it's kept
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and sent to us by email. We keep application details for as long as they're needed to review your application and, if you join, while you're a member. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also stop event or retreat updates at any time. Just get in touch at info@derekeldercoaching.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
